1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from Apple App Store or Google Play store

2. Open a web browser and navigate to https://outlook.live.com/owa/

3. Sign in with your Imaging Associates e-mail address.

4. Add ‘Mobile app’ to your phone as a secondary form of authentication.

5. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone, add an account and choose ‘Work or school’. Scan the QR code that appears.

Once you have scanned the QR code, your e-mail address will appear in the Microsoft Authenticator app (see below). Click next.

Microsoft will now ask you to provide the 6-digit code on your mobile authenticator app.

6. Enter your phone number incase you can not use the Authenticator app for verification, Microsoft will send an SMS instead.

7. Note down and keep a copy of the app password. You will need this to access Outlook if your usual password doesn't work. Please use the app password instead.

The app password is needed for people who access IA e-mails on their phone or use a desktop version of Outlook e.g people who have laptops. If you are a tech or receptionist using a shared computer, you most likely will not need this, as you use Outlook Webmail.

If you end up losing the app password, please go to: 

 

https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info

 

Click ‘Security info’ on the left and it will bring you to the window below, you can now delete and add a new app password.
