Follow the below steps to import DICOM images to Visage PACS and merge the imported images with the existing patient record in PACS.
| 1 | Save the DICOM images to a folder on the desktop. | |
| 2 | Login to Visage PACS and select File > Import DICOM Directory from the menu |  |
| 3 | A new file explorer window will open. Find the folder with the DICOM images and click "Select Folder" |  |
| 4 | Visage PACS will list the contents of the folder. Select the patient name and click "Import", In the next window click "Import data" (Don't change any settings) Note down the patient name to find the patient in the next step. |  |
| 5 | Go to the QA tab in PACS. search for the patient using the surname and the first name. You will be able to identify the imported images and any existing images that the patient have in PACS. Last step is to merge the two patient records in PACS so the imported images gets linked to the existing patient. Select the imported patient name and the existing patient name while in the QA area. Merge patients option will appear in the above area in PACS. Click "Merge patients" |  |
